Matthew 24:5-8
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
It’s talking about the end times that were are in. Everyone in the military went to serve for our freedom so we can worship like this and preach the Gospel. We are the soldiers in GOD’s Army. The best part of being in GOD’s Army is that we know we win. We do win. We don’t have to keep fighting the enemy. We just need to stay focused on JESUS and Stand. Stand on HIS WORD and all HIS Promises. We have the authority and the POWER of the HOLY GHOST to beat everything that comes our way. The devil can’t make us sin. He can and he will tempt us but it’s up to us to fall for it. WE DON’T HAVE TO.
James 4:6-8
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
2 Timothy 2:3-4
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Our commander-in-chief is JESUS!
JESUS is the head of the body, the church. WE NEED TO LISTEN TO HIM!
Luke 6:46
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Ephesians 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
1 Peter 5:8-9
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
We know the enemy and he loses. WE WIN.
Matthew 10:22
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Being a part of GOD’s Army is like the military. It’s not a 9 to 5 job, it’s a 24/7 career. We need to be telling people about JESUS and the Hope and Victory we have in HIM.
2 Timothy 4:7
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
We are the warriors for JESUS. We will stand against the enemy. We are Victorious. We are prayer warriors.
We need to stand up for what we believe. There’s a lot of people that are against the truth and everything that’s right.
We are in the LORD’s ARMY and we will make a difference.
There are some things worth fighting for: our freedom in America and our freedom to worship the KING of kings and the LORD of lords!
