Dedicated to JESUS

There’s an old song and part of the lyrics were “ dedicated to the one I love.”

I ask myself and everyone else, who are we dedicated to? What are we dedicated to?

Lots of people are dedicated to their jobs, money, sports teams, and a lot of things that won’t get you to Heaven. If we follow those lyrics and ask ourselves if we truly are dedicated to the one I love then we need to stand up and stand strong and let everyone know we are dedicated to JESUS. HE is the one we need to be in Love with and to be dedicated to.

Are we ready to be dedicated to the things that JESUS wants us to do. That’s why we need to reach people who don’t know JESUS. That’s what HE wants us to do. Every day. That’s what JESUS tells us to do and that is important to HIM.

Mark 16:15

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Revelation 14:6

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,”

The more dedicated we get about telling people about JESUS, the more people will want to build a relationship with HIM. The more Bible studies will be going on. The more they will understand the plan of salvation. They’ll want to repent of their sins. They’ll want to get Baptized in JESUS name. They will receive the free precious powerful gift of the HOLY GHOST.

Don’t let family and friends and neighbors and co-workers go on without knowing JESUS. JESUS was dedicated to go through with getting beat beyond recognition. Being ridiculed and spit on. Being hung on a cross. Dying for us and after three days rose from the grave to give us eternal life. Do you know JESUS today? Do you want to know HIM more?

Spiritual growth is not an accident. It’s very intentional. You gotta be dedicated to grow in your relationship with JESUS. You gotta make a choice to grow. You are as close to JESUS as you choose to be. If you are not growing spiritually don’t blame anybody. If you don’t feel close to God right now, guess who moved? JESUS don’t move.

We need to encourage people to build a strong relationship with HIM so they can get the Hope there is in HIM. The Love there is. The peace, comfort, grace, mercy. I encourage everyone today to know JESUS. HE’S the best friend you’ll ever have. HE will be there with you at the mention of HIS Name. HE is always there. I guarantee your life will change for the better when you know JESUS. It’s an awesome change. Because you know when troubles come HE will get you through them.

Psalm 23 4-6

^“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
