Peace of GOD

It’s another sad day with the senseless killing of 14 people in San Bernardino. There are others that were injured. It all adds up with the killings in France. I check the internet and all the headlines of people getting murdered at their campsite. The gunman in Colorado. Planes being shot out of the air. And on and on it goes and it’s going to keep going. That’s why we have to share the Hope that we have in JESUS. We also need to share the Peace we get from JESUS. It is not going to get any better out there.

HE will give us all the peace we need if we will only take it. Peace is one of the fruits of the Spirit. When we get a hold of HIS peace deep in our hearts, HIS comfort will follow.

Philippians 4:6-7

⁶ Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When you receive the peace that passes all understanding, Don’t analyze it. Just put it in your heart and don’t question it or give it away. Because you also get HIS comfort. Let JESUS give you HIS peace and comfort. Let HIM cradle you in HIS arms. Keep HIS peace and comfort and don’t let anyone take it away from you. You don’t have to give it away, just let others see it in you. Put it in your heart, mind, soul, and spirit and you’ll realize how much joy there is living for GOD. Don’t give up the peace when trials come in your life. Trust HIM and Trust HIS WORD. JESUS said that the life HE gives us is everlasting, so is the peace and comfort. The more you experience this, the more you’ll enjoy being a child of GOD and others will see this and they’ll want it. Remember that JESUS is the Prince of Peace.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Having the peace of GOD doesn’t always change the crisis, but it will change the way you respond to it.

Peace that JESUS gives is not the absence of trouble, but it’s the confidence that He is there with you always.

Peace rules the day when JESUS rules the heart.

I have 3 scriptures that should give us peace and comfort. Read them slowly and get to understand them.

Revelation 21:4

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

 John 16:33 

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
