We need to remember every day what the military has done for this country. Never forget. We are here because of the freedom we have.
Moses had to remind his peeps to remember all the suffering they did as slaves in Egypt. How they were oppressed by Pharaoh. He reminded them that GOD got them out of there and to the promised land because they were HIS people. We need to remember and never forget where JESUS brought us out from. When we were slaves to sin.
Deuteronomy 5:15
“And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.”
Deuteronomy 15:15
“And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee.”
The things of this world will distract you. The devil makes things look nice and shiny and it catches our eye and we want it. Our focus and passion for JESUS changes.
Remember when you started to build a strong relationship with JESUS, how you just loved HIM so much that you couldn’t get enough of God, church and the Bible? What happened? We need to ask ourselves if we still hold that same love? Do we still have that same passion? Remember your first love for Jesus and GET BACK to it!
JESUS reminded them in
Matthew 16:9-10 “Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?”
He told them to remember the loaves.
In Mark 6:52 the Apostles were afraid when the waters were kicking up and the boat was rocking like crazy. They didn’t know what to do. They called on JESUS and he calmed the storm and told them, remember all the miracles you saw me do. They “considered not the miracle of the loaves.”
If you have a need that seems too big or a situation that is out of control, REMEMBER THE LOAVES! Nothing is too big for GOD! Today is the day to grab a hold of JESUS and REMEMBER all HE has done for us
Luke 16 tells of Lazarus and the Rich man. Lazarus died and was in Heaven, but the rich man died, he was in Hell. He looked up and called for mercy from Abraham, but Abraham said, “REMEMBER.” You were Blessed with so much in your life and helped no one. Anyone going to hell will remember that they had a chance to serve JESUS. Be with HIM forever.
If you reject the Truth today and go into eternity without JESUS, you will remember it in hell forever!
Remember when you were feeling sad and depressed. Do you remember how JESUS held you in HIS arms and comforted you.
Remember when you needed money for bills and JESUS provided for you. Remember how HE provided a job.
Remember when you were in pain and JESUS healed you.
Remember when you were scared and afraid and HE gave you peace.
