Isaiah 9:6
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
I was meditating on this verse and it really spoke to me again. A son is given. HE gave HIS son. JESUS gave HIS life for us. Nobody took it from HIM. JESUS is the reason for the every season.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
HIS name shall be called Wonderful.
Everything about JESUS and HIS Powerful name is Wonderful. Think about it. Every testimony we give is wonderful because it’s about giving GOD the Glory. JESUS is the best ever. Do you know HIM? Get to know HIM by talking to HIM. Reading HIS word. Get a Bible study. Love HIM.
His Birth was wonderful. His Life was wonderful. His Teachings were wonderful. His Miracles were wonderful. His Resurrection was wonderful.
To be a counselor you have to have Wisdom. There’s no better Wisdom to have then the wisdom that comes from JESUS. HE is our counselor. HE stands up for us. We can have HIS Wisdom. All we have to do is ask.
JESUS is the Mighty GOD. HE robed Himself in flesh and walked among us. HE shows us what to do and say and act and think. HE spoke everything into existence.
The child that was born and the son that was given is the Mighty GOD. Nothing exists without HIM. HE has all the Power to do anything. And everything that HE does is awesome.
Revelation 1:8
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
John 1:1-3
“ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
John 1:14
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
HE is the Everlasting Father. HE always was, always is, and always will be. HE is the great I AM.
John 14:9
“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?”
John 10:30
“I and my Father are one.”
As the everlasting Father HE gave us life. HE gave us HIS nature.
HE is the lover of our souls. HE wants to be with us for eternity. HE wants us to be healed of every kind of sickness and disease. HE wants us to be Blessed in all things. HE wants to protect us. HE wants to provide our every need. HE wants us to have real joy. The kind that comes from HIM. HE’S my DADDY.
HE is also called the Prince of Peace. HE came to give us rest.
Matthew 11:28
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Hang out with JESUS and get to know HIM. You will never regret it. Talk to HIM like HE’S your best friend.
