The building isn’t the church, we are. Do you agree? We are GOD’S church. People who have the HOLY GHOST have the power to do what JESUS wants us to do. When I say that JESUS is in the house, HE is in the house. We are the living temples of GOD and this body is HIS house. So HE is in this house.
Do we just gather in this building or do you come expecting? If you’re expecting something, what are you expecting? Are you expecting JESUS to give you things? We should always expect JESUS to provide all our needs. Expect HIM to heal us. Expect HIS peace and comfort. Expect HIS LOVE. It’s HIS promises.
As strong believers of JESUS we need to show the world the signs of believers. These signs can be found in the Book of Mark.
Mark 16:15-20
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
We’re supposed to tell people about JESUS. HIS death, burial, and resurrection. We use modern technology to get the truth out there. Tell someone about JESUS today and every chance you get.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
That tells it like it is. No gray area there. Very strong Scripture and in black and white.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
In the Mighty all Powerful name of JESUS everything can be done. The devil ain’t staying where JESUS is. Holy Ghost Power. Speaking in new tongues is what you do when you got the JESUS living inside you. It’s that Heavenly language between you and GOD. HE knows what you say.
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Some people have read this and bring snakes on platform and dance with them or drink poison. They turned that into a ritual to prove someone’s spirituality. First, you ain’t gonna tempt GOD. This promise is if you come across some dangers while you’re doing your normal work for the LORD.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
They went everywhere and preached the Gospel because the LORD was with them. And the signs followed them. All these signs happened at the early church. Except drinking poison. Read the Book of Acts. The Bible never says that these signs are for just that time period. These signs should be going on until JESUS comes back.
The signs we read about are not just for a chosen few. They are to be done by all believers. JESUS will use you to perform these miracles. Let HIM. He’ll use somebody. Be used by GOD and watch your Faith explode. We need to claim HIS promises.
As we spread the Gospel we can show people the HOPE there is in JESUS. They don’t have to be a captive to satan’s lies and tricks.
Matthew 10:1
10 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Luke 9:2
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
John 14:12
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
