Let Jesus Set You Free

I’m gonna talk about JESUS setting us free. I’m not talking about the freedom we have in this country to Worship and meet like this to teach and preach JESUS. This is a huge Blessing. Thank you JESUS.

JESUS will set you free anywhere you are. Are you ready to be set free from anything holding you down. Anything bringing you down. Anything making you sick. Anything making you depressed. HE can make you free from anger, envy, jealousy, pride. JESUS is here today to make you free. Remember a few months ago we all wrote down something we wanted to get rid of in our lives and give it to JESUS. Then we came up here and put it a shredder. Well, the LORD told me to send this reminder out again. Some of us either kept a part of it or we’re hanging on to something else. Today is the day to give it to JESUS and let HIM make you free from it. Remember HE told us in

Matthew 11:30

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

You gotta believe HE can handle anything we give to HIM.

George Barna said, “Americans revere the Bible, but by and large they don’t know what it says. And because they don’t know it, they have become a nation of biblical illiterates.” Just as the people in this Barna poll are woefully biblical illiterate, Christians are far too ignorant of the Word of God. No wonder 21st century Christians are failing to finish their marathon race. No wonder Christians by the thousands are falling prey to the false teachers of our day. They are being fed junk food and don’t feed themselves on the Word of God.

They are desperately in need of a solid diet of good food, Scripture. We need to get into “spiritual shape”!

When you let JESUS make you free, you will see a huge impact in your life because we will be FREE INDEED to live as overcomers and be productive for HIS Kingdom. We won’t be just hanging on as Christians.

When we give it all to JESUS and let HIM run our lives and make our decisions for us, we can know for sure that sin’s power is broken. We won’t be under sin’s control.

We know we can change. HE gives us freedom from the control of sin when we give ourselves over to JESUS. We can see ourselves getting more focused on HIM. We are all free to choose. This is where our faith comes in. We gotta believe that when we give our lives to JESUS that HE does make us FREE INDEED.
