Pick the Narrow Path

It’s our choice to pick the path we want to in life. Everything we do is our choice. We should not blame others for our decisions. The blame game is not acceptable. We are not responsible for other people, we are responsible for our own actions. Things I have done in my life is because I chose to do them. Nobody forced me. It’s time for people to take responsibility for their lives.

Matthew 7:13-14

 ^“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Do your best to be part of the few that find the narrow way. The narrow way is the JESUS way. Following JESUS and doing your best to be like HIM. I encourage you to tell your friends and family and co-workers about JESUS. HE is the way, the Truth and the life. A lot of people choose the wide path because they don’t even know JESUS. Or they don’t trust HIM. Don’t like HIM. Don’t believe in HIM.

Proverbs 10:29

“The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.”

Walking the way JESUS wants us to will give us the strength to get through all the valleys. The ones who decide to do the works of the evil one will be destroyed. It’s easy to follow what the world is offering to people. The enemy is making good look evil and evil look good. There is a lot of pressure on people, especially the younger generation, on doing what the enemy is suggesting to do. But when you think about staying on the narrow path and where you will end up forever, it’s not as hard as people think. I love living for JESUS and trying my best to be like HIM. I’ll never forget where I came from and always think about where I’m gonna end up.

1 Peter 2:9

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”

We are a chosen people. Chosen by JESUS and we make the choice to follow HIM. We are peculiar. Not everyone does what we do. Not everyone repents of their sins. Not everyone gets Baptized in JESUS name. Not everyone gets filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. JESUS called us out of the darkness we were living in and here we are today standing in HIS Marvelous light. How exciting is that. If we stay on the narrow path, we will end up in Heaven with JESUS forever. It all begins with a choice that leads to a path which will bring us to a beautiful life or a very sad end.
