Caution, God’s at Work!

It is indeed summer time in Wisconsin, as you drive along most any road, we see orange barrels lining the street, and you can sometimes see Caution, Men at Work signs. But what about God? does He work? Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

We as Americans put in long hours and long weeks, more than most industrialized nations, we take the least amount of vacations, and leaves as other nations as well. No wonder we are tired and a little bit grumpy. But what about God? does He ever get tired of dealing with all the request and petitions by us? does He ever get tired of getting blamed for all our problems? After all, did He not make the seventh day for rest? Isaiah 40:28-31, “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Thank God that He never tires or grows weary of strengthening us, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” He continues to use us for the furthering of His kingdom, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” We are all still under construction and the great creator Jesus Christ is the master builder working in and through us for His good pleasure! As we continue to grow in spirit and truth we will become powerful tools for the kingdom of God, please allow the God of all the heavens and earth continue to work in your life.
