I wanna talk about how great our GOD is. Everything that HE has done should make us excited to live for HIM. HE saved people from drug addiction. Some from alcohol. Some from suicide. We all live for something or someone. I choose to live for JESUS. Way back when, I lived for myself and that’s when the enemy jumped in and ran my life. I was living the way I wanted to. Now I’m so excited I live for JESUS. I can’t lose now. I win. Doing my best for HIM.
GOD is so great because of who HE is. HE’s the one who spoke this world into existence. HE suffered and died for all of us so that we can be with HIM forever. We all have choices to make in our lives. The most important choice is to pick where you want to end up forever. What we do here on earth will depend where we’ll end up. I want to encourage everyone to choose JESUS. Choose you this day whom you will serve.
HE is so great that HE made a way for us to be with HIM forever. HE gives us HIS plan of salvation. It’s about being born of the water and the Spirit.
John 3:1-5
3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
HE is so great that HE will heal every sickness and disease.
Matthew 9:35
35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Luke 4:40-41
40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
The word grace in the Bible, refers to the freely given, unmerited favor and love of God. John 1:14 tells us that God left His heavenly throne, became flesh and came to live with us here on earth. He was full of grace and truth. The Bible says that we receive blessings from the fullness of His grace.
1 John 4:3-4
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Ephesians 1:6-7
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 2: 4-8
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God
