Are you ready for the Midnight Hour? Lots of things are going on in the Midnight Hour – I’m not talking about a time clock, I’m talking about the end times. It’s on us now. Look what’s going on in the world. More people killing, more hatred, more wild weather going on. Just read about two teenagers plotting to kill students and teachers in Georgia. Less respect. People not caring about others.
Let’s stay ready for the Midnight Hour. No one knows the hour.
A parable about the midnight hour is about the 10 virgins in
Matt 25:1-13
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
The parable of the ten virgins tells all believers to be looking to their own spiritual condition because JESUS is coming at an unknown and unexpected time. We gotta stay strong in faith so that when the day comes we will be ready. Or we meet HIM before that. We need to have a personal relationship with JESUS. The difference between the foolish and wise is the failure to realize that JESUS is coming at an unexpected time, no one knows. No one.
When things look darkest, remember who we serve and stand up victoriously and understand who we are in JESUS, we start singing praises to him. PRAISE IS WARFARE! Praise is a powerful force against the enemy. Something happens when we praise GOD, especially when we are going through a really tough time. It confuses the enemy. When we’re able to praise HIM no matter what the circumstance, HE tears down the walls of the prison built up around us. And at the right time, at the MIDNIGHT HOUR, the walls come tumbling down.
When the enemy has you oppressed at the MIDNIGHT HOUR, start lifting up the name of JESUS! HE shows up and HE frees us from any bondage. When we’re yoked up to the one that is KING of Kings and LORD of Lords, we will be set free from every bondage and every shackle of the enemy.
Do you feel you’re in a tough time, a hard time, or that you’re in bondage – START PRAISING GOD
Remember who HE IS – There’s nothing like getting into the presence of GOD to eliminate worry, doubt, fear, depression, anxiety, or any other attack from the enemy.
