Every Life Matters to JESUS

maxresdefault  By Pastor Mike

On the news they were talking about the 12 policemen that were ambushed by snipers in Dallas. Five died and seven others were injured. This happened during a rally about a police shooting. There was one last week in Minneapolis I heard about when I was up there where another person got shot and killed by police. I prayed and will pray for all the people who lost loved ones in this crazy world. It’s happening more and more. JESUS wants it to stop.

The devil wants to always keep the prejudice alive in this country. He wants to get another civil war started only this time to have it with people against others of different color. The devil hates everybody and especially hates people who are living for JESUS and following JESUS.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

GOD made the human race, not people of different races or different colors. We need to stand strong as Believers of the Truth to reach the lost of every color. Don’t be afraid to talk to anyone and everyone about JESUS. We need to keep looking at the hearts of people like JESUS does. That’s what matters to JESUS. That’s what should matter to us.

We have to stand strong for what we believe. We have to know deep down in our hearts that we believe the Truth. The Truth is the WORD. The Bible. JESUS loves everybody. JESUS heals everybody. HE delivers everybody. HE provides for all. The more we tell people about JESUS the more they will get a hold of HIM and HIS love. They will want to stop the hatred that’s out there. They will learn to love like JESUS loves. Are we that way?

You know what a chameleon is. It’s a reptile that changes colors from its environment. But it always is a chameleon no matter what color it is. Humans are humans no matter color they are. They’re still humans that need to be told about JESUS and HIS plan of salvation. JESUS did all HE did for everyone here on earth. HE wasn’t picking and choosing who HE died for. JESUS wants everyone to decide whom they will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Galatians 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

That’s the human race. It’s all about the choices we make. Do we want to be like JESUS and love everyone or do we want to pick and choose who we love and want to hang out with. Remember HE is no respecter of persons. It rains on the just and the unjust. HE treats everyone the same. Don’t matter who you are.

Ephesians 4:4-6

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

One Race!

we-only-have-one-race-the-human-race By Pastor Jeff

How many different races are part of the human race? In spite of what we have been taught or have read there are not 4 or more separate races of people in our world. There is just one and its called the Human Race. Genesis 1:26-27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” You won’t find any scriptures that refer to color or separate races in the word of God in fact God reminds over and over again that with God there is no respect of persons, Romans 2:11, “For there is no respect of persons with God”.

So why the talk of different races from the government, media, schools, and even the church. Evolutionary thought brought the concept of different races to the forefront even though it was a belief by some before that, but now we had “science” that gave us evidence that some people groups were more evolved than others. Evolutionist Stephen Jay Gould claimed,  “Biological arguments for racism have been common before 1859, but they increased by orders of magnitude following the acceptance of evolutionary theory.” Acts 17:26 tells us this is not so, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;” The bible is clear, there is only one race.

Discrimination is tearing our country apart, whether it be of color, sex, age, social and financial status, and unfortunately some people are using this for achieving their own selfish goals whether it be financial or ideological. This view should never be allowed to enter the church, Jesus gave us the “Golden Rule” that tells us to love your neighbor as yourself!

Jesus gave shed His blood not just for people of one particular skin color, but for every man, woman, child, if your rich or poor, black or white, young or old, smart or not so smart! Basic genetic differences of any person in the world is about 0.2 percent and color of skin, eye shape, and the difference in physical appearance accounts for only .012 percent. Not much is there?

Lets not let any of biases that we’ve learned or developed ever be allowed to infect us or affect the church for we can look at the destruction it causes in several of our nations cities as it has divided our nation pretty much as slavery did in the 1800’s. James 2:1-8, “My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:”
