Unity

Exodus 17:8-13

8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. 10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

As Moses became more tired, Aaron & Hur, brought a stone Moses could sit on and with one man on either side of him, they held up his arms so that Joshua could win the battle.

We need to be there for one another to lift up one another in prayer and in encouragement.

Acts 4:31-32

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Psalm 133:1

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Living together in unity has to involve loving one another – I mean everyone loving everyone – first and foremost by showing it – to everyone –I’m not saying its always easy – but its always the right thing to do  show the LOVE

How’s this for final act of UNITY

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Let’s be ready to stand in unity. Remember to pray for each other. Be there for one another.
